We are filling positions for the FEMA PUBLIC ASSISTANCE PROGRAM .We are actively looking for civil engineers and construction managers to fill our roster .
Here is some background on the program. I am with Sedona Technologies Government Services (STGS), part of CSS-JV, was recently awarded a FEMA contract for the Public Assistance Program. This contract, if you are unfamiliar, helps communities identify and apply for grant money after disaster strikes. The zones we cover are located in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. Most positions on the FEMA Public Assistance Program require working out of a field office at the disaster location. STGS covers costs for hotel, travel, rental car, and you would receive the government rate per diem. Most positions require at least a six month commitment but many of the positions are a six month commitment with an option for a six month extension after that, so up to one year total. These are W2 positions and we offer benefits including health, dental, vision, 401K matching after 1 year, and PTO.
This does require a 6 month commitment out of a field office .
