The Network/Telecommunications Financial Analyst is responsible for running the financial analysis for each client engagement. This requires building a comprehensive baseline of current network assets, services and cost drivers. The Analyst will work with other project resources to model multiple potential solutions for network transformation as well as the resulting business case. The Analyst must have working familiarity with network services and infrastructure cost drivers. Duties: Utilize carrier and network services supplier portals to extract billing and operational data for baseline creation and analysis. Merge multiple sources of data and information (portal extracts, ERP extracts, service orders, contract documents, stakeholder input, etc.) to create baseline models to support audit, negotiation, and transformation initiatives. Create scenarios from baseline models comparing alternatives and possible outcomes to support decision making at Fortune 100 companies. Review, investigate and perform audits for network services invoices Analyze invoices against signed contracts, order forms, and internal monitoring tools to verify that all charges are valid, or that corrections can be made (retroactively if necessary). Work closely with client to confirm services have been properly authorized and delivered by suppliers. Qualifications and Experience Required Bachelor?s Degree 3-5 years current experience managing telecom invoices, contracts, carrier portals, and tariffs. Intermediate to Advanced MS Office, with strong Excel skills. Ability to create tables and utilize queries in Microsoft Access or other database tool a plus. Knowledge of wireline and wireless telecom service components and associated billing elements across multiple vendors. Previous experience with Telecom Expense Management (TEM) systems Strong interpersonal skills and experience interacting with all levels and departments within company, client, and vendors/carriers. Analytical and Accuracy-focused. Strong attention to detail. Global/international telecom experience is a plus. Experience working remotely and being self-directed/self-motivated.
