Duties and responsibilities include: Recruitment of support staff titles throughout hospital, including SOT's, HCT's, UST's, and primary responsibility for the summer SCA program. Conduct employment verification and ensure credentials of new employees. Prepares all new hire packets, efficiently completes the new hire process, and is responsible for all new hire paperwork, including internal promotions and transfers. Maintains Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records and compiles reports from database as needed. Develop and share best practices to drive a seamless hiring process in partnership with the Nursing Talent Acquisition Specialists. Schedule all new hires for pre-employment paperwork, physical, and orientation. Nurture close relationships throughout the on-boarding process with applicants through proactive communication. Track and report on key metrics including time to hire, time to fill, and time to check references. Maintain and monitor online reference database and follow-up with candidates to activate accounts. Establishes and maintains a positive and supportive working relationship with co-workers, supervisor, and internal as well as external customers. Answers calls and is responsive to candidates regarding the on-boarding process. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field and one year of experience in a professional administrative capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent written/oral communication, customer service, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and computer skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a healthcare setting.
