Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Field Service & Installation Technician to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in providing support for all areas of IT. You'll work both indoors and out installing, testing and maintaining the equipment as well as cabling (including fiber) utilized to provide customers with data and security networks.
We install cabling infrastructure for standard computer networking, access control, camera systems and VoIP installations.
Serves customers by installing and servicing systems and products.
*Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
*Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation.
*Maintains rapport with customers by identifying needs; providing solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
*Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions and best practices; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
*Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
*Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
*Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
*Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
*Overtime, nights and weekends may be required.
*Valid driver"s license and clean driving record.
