The Assistant Director will provide project management for various technological projects across Strategic Initiatives and Innovation and will assist the Director in setting technology strategy. The position will include some travel to remote locations and the ability to exercise independent judgment in evaluating technical needs and solutions for these locations. This position will also assist the IT Director in providing remote access to enterprise data both on laptops and mobile devices and provide expertise in Internet based activities.QualificationsBachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Information Management with 7 years experience in Information TechnologyMinimum of 5 years experience supporting Apple hardware (both Mac and IOS), Windows, Android and administering Microsoft Active Directory users, groups and computers.Minimum of 3 years experience with FAST system for Information Coordinator dutiesMinimum of 3 years experience with learning management systems or similar online instructional technologyJob Specific QualificationsAbility to work collaboratively with diverse staff and constituents; excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong customer relationshipsSolid problem solving skills with ability to coordinate projects and activities to completionKnowledgeable in cross-platform environments: Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and practical knowledge of mainstream educational and administrative software applicationsKnowledge of:JIRABomgarWindows/Mac/Linux troubleshooting utilitiesPowerShellO365 (Teams, etc.)VoIP Cisco TechnologyiOS/AndroidLMSResponsibilitiesLead SI/NVRC technical staff team, acting as the second level support for issues requiring specific expertise. Develop, coordinate and conduct training to staff in uses of hardware and software. Develop, maintain and/or recommend user documentation for applications.Perform Active Directory administrative duties, including managing data security access.Work with IT Director to plan, prioritize and manage projects.
