Course Description: This course examines major systems within our natural environment: climate; vegetation; soils; hydrology (water); and landforms. The processes and environmental interactions that shape these systems will be stressed, and the varying processes and forms found in different environments on the earth will be examined. The course looks into explaining the distribution of natural features around the earth. Attention is given to the problems that can arise in the interaction between human activity and the natural systems that function in these environments.
