OverviewA closer look at this position: Underwrite, analyze and perform commercial mortgage loan valuations for the Real Estate Capital Markets Group. ResponsibilitiesAs a Commercial Mortgage Loan Underwriter , you will:Underwrite real estate loans in accordance with company and capital market standards.Build and maintain financial models to perform risk analyses under different operating scenarios.Perform full valuation, DSCR and Debt Yield analyses on real estate collateral nationwide.Participate in day-to-day deal execution Securitization needs, interacting with deal team members, clients, transaction counterparties and other advisors.Manage the due diligence processes, including preparing virtual data rooms, tracking and coordinating the information flow, and reviewing and analyzing company, sponsor and market information.Order and review third parties - appraisal, environmental, engineering, zoning, insurance, title, legalPrepare asset summary reports, responses to b piece buyers, rating agency queries, and credit committee presentations.Monitor and evaluate current events related to CMBS, CRE CLO and real estate markets nationwide.Perform other related duties as assigned QualificationsYouu2019ve got what it takes, if your credentials include: An undergraduate degree from a leading universityA minimum of 2-5 years CMBS or Capital Market Real Estate loan underwriting experienceVery strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature mannerExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity.Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects with different deal teamsAbility to conduct thorough, independent researchHighly organized, detail oriented and proactiveExcellent technology skills with superior Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to quickly learn new software applications Chart your career path at The Bancorp:Be part of an exceptional team focused on excellence, collaboration and high achievement.Follow your ambitions through professional development opportunities and performance management.Choose from a comprehensive benefits package.Thrive with a company that supports work-life balance and personal fulfillment.Maintain personal well-being through our wellness program.Join us in living a culture of compliance to ensure that every corner of our organization understands and fulfills its legal and regulatory obligations.Contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace with your unique talents and perspective.
