Applies fundamental knowledge of basic principles, theories, concepts and industry practices to support projects related to planning, organizing and participating in a variety of events and activities aimed at fostering and enhancing the company’s relationships, stakeholder and community relations, and sustainability goals.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Solves problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures for guidance. Work is closely monitored and the results reviewed for accuracy and adequacy. This position requires a high degree of administrative duties that require attention to detail.
Plans and accomplishes a complete range of assignments and tasks that are varied and moderately complex to complex. These tasks may be related to, coordination and consultation for volunteer functions inside and outside the organization, and special events or projects. Tasks require the use of experience and judgment to determine appropriate action selected from established alternatives. Tasks require the ability to write, implement and update a project plan with the ability to complete a post event assessment. Work is accomplished under general supervision and written or verbal guidelines.
Assists in coordination of the functions to help strengthen public or private programs and to involve Stakeholders in the company and/or community. Able to support, organize and reconcile budgetary documents, invoices and other related financial tracking. Able to maintain databases and records and learn customer management system.
Maintains accurate records and provides timely statistical and activity reports. Assists in the selection and makes arrangements for site, food and beverage, audio-visual, transportation and other services. Tracks expenses and assists in conducting reconciliation and preparation of reports on activities’ costs.
Ancillary Functions and Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications other than the primary assignment.
Formal Education, Training and Work Experience:
Associates degree in Business or related field and three (3) to five (5) years of related work experience is required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Moderate to expert experience in Microsoft excel preferred. Experience in sharepoint and Microsoft Project are desired but not required.
Level of Supervision Required:
Follows well established policies and practices as assigned by immediate supervision. Follows specific, detailed instructions as to tasks, methods and results. Works under general supervision.
Special Job Requirements and Skills:
Demonstrate competency in applying the following to perform normal job duties. Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form using electronic media, telephone and direct contact with internal and external personnel. Operate standard office equipment and demonstrate competency in the use of standard software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

Must be able to work outside normal business hours for events on occasion, if required. Must be able to ascend and descend stairs.
