Mercy Physician Network (MPN), Mercy Philadelphia Hospital and Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital have an excellent employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncology physician interested in joining the nationally accredited, award-winning Mercy Cancer Care Program located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Medical Oncologists within MPN provide cancer care at both Mercy Philadelphia Hospital and Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. Oncology services provide a full range of care from preventative screening, diagnostics and imaging, to state of the art treatment options. The team does include Oncology Nurse Navigators and a dedicated Social Worker as well as employed Pathology physicians. This opportunity provides the physician a practice combination of inpatient consults, clinic visits and infusion patients within a community teaching hospital. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday with a night and weekend call rotation. The Mercy Cancer Care Program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, the American College of Radiology with certified centers of excellence designation as well as the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. The center is also a member of the Sydney Kimmel Cancer Network. This role does offer the opportunity for faculty appointment at Drexel University College of medicine and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
