BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE Institutional and Contract Foodservice Sales Person PAST EXPERIENCE A MUST. VGS (Visual Graphic Systems, Inc. (www.vgsonline.com), a leader in Visual Communications, seeks a qualified self-starter, Business Development Manager to nurture and gain business within the Institutional Foodservice segment. We are seeking candidates- WHO HAVE WORKED EITHER FOR ONE OF OUR TARGET ACCOUNTS IN CONTRACT FOODSERVICE OR HAVE A HISTORY OF SELLING INTO THIS MARKET. Examples- such as Compass, Sodexo, Aramark, Delaware North and large self operated foodservice accounts in Education, B&I and Healthcare. We are looking for an Business Development Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Business Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. This position requires extensive networking, time management discipline, and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the institutional foodservice environment. specifically relating to signage, décor, displays and fixtures. Responsibilities: The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Manage and grow existing accounts- we work with 17 of the top 20 and will be handing over opportunities that have been under utlized and grown. Develop and implement Ongoing Sales/Support plan New ways to penetrate existing accounts · Uncover new business opportunities within the sector · Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships · Communicate customer needs to internal design team for development · Serve as the lead point of contact for all account issues · Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders · Identify new business opportunities with existing/new clients. Identify areas of improvement and communicate with the internal team to maximize these opportunities. · Assist with Forecast and track key account metrics · Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed · Visit clients on a regularly basis · Creating and accurately managing the sales pipeline in our CRM Tracking system Desired Skills & Experience · 5+ years of sales experience in related field- Contract foodservce Sales · Proven track record of results and exceeding sales goals with a must-win attitude · Passion for graphics, design and the customer retail experience · Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, responsible, attentive to detail, accountable, professional, relentless work ethic. · Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level · Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail · Innovative, forward thinker · Ability to work in a fast pace, team environment, energized by environment where change is constant · A solid knowledge of sales funnels, building sales strategy and increasing sales pipeline. · High aptitude for comprehending client business models and proactively designing solutions to address the corresponding opportunities. · Strong verbal and written communication skills · BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field About VGS & Studio D We are Innovative Problem Solvers for Over 35 Years Building on 35+ years of experience, we have the advantage of combining our unique design proficiency and strong project management skills, with solid fabrication expertise, to create an unparalleled customer experience.
