Marketing Coordinator/Proposal Coordinator We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative thinker to join our Marketing Team. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of marketing experience preparing marketing proposals, preferably in the A/E industry. This position will support the Marketing and Business Development efforts at Vocon. The position requires an excellent verbal and written communicator, problem solver and action-oriented team player. You must be committed to internal and external client service, poised under fast-paced pressure and have a relentlessly positive, flexible, "do whatever it takes" attitude. Key Responsibilities. Proposals, RFP / RFQ Responses and Presentations ?Preparing proposals, qualifications packages and presentations for prospective clients.? ?Organizes, coordinates and controls activities involved in the preparation of marketing proposals, presentations, and submittals, insuring on time delivery ?Working with principals, senior staff, and other marketing team members to design, write and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards ?Quality ? Responsible for grammar, editing, voice and tone of document and manage proposal the proposal production to allow enough time for this review. ?Completes and/or directs the completion of client questionnaires, qualifying statements and government forms as required.?Work often involves composing or editing answers to technical, essay type questions. ?Coordinates or obtain information from consultant firms to be included in proposals and presentations. Research project details such as construction cost, size, client reference, etc. ?Provide graphics support for presentations and specialized pieces, often in conjunction with our internal graphics team. ?Manage project close out ? save information that will be valuable for future proposals? Marketing Materials, Tools, Supplements ?Participates in the development of and is responsible for maintaining all marketing resource materials-brochures, data, color copies, photographs, files, and client database ?Creating/managing boilerplate content. ?Researching clients, market trends and background information? ?Managing project and client data in firmwide databases and marketing collateral ?Assist with conference/seminar presentations ?Develop new materials to support business development activities ?Create new image sheets and qualifications sheets as necessary ?Coordinates work with outside vendors (electronic transfer of data, reprographics, binding, etc.)?and consultants ?Writes and/or updates new project and personnel resumes to be used for marketing purposes ?Seeks and incorporates new references into marketing submittals ?Participates in updates to website content and coordinates with consultant when required ?Participates in our social media initiatives by way of writing and posting content, coordinating with internal and external resources for content input and coordinating with outside consultants for input as required ?Coordinate project and personnel information to be provided to public relations consultant ?Helps identify and manage new technology in marketing including social media platforms and analytics, and its use for the firm?s advantage. ?General Administrative?as needed including printing and binding materials, assisting with photography efforts, award submissions, and event coordination etc. Required Education, Experience and Skills.? ?Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design or Communications? ?Three plus years of professional experience in a marketing position with a design or professional services firm ?Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating effective presentations, technical writing and marketing collateral.?Strong editing and proofreading skills a must ?Committed to internal and external client service, poised under fast-paced pressure with a relentlessly positive, flexible, ?do whatever it takes? attitude. ?Strong graphic communication and design skills? ?Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) This description indicates in general terms, the type and level of work performed as well as the typical responsibilities of employees in this classification.
