Job Title: Revenue Cycle Provider Practice Liaison Summary: Responsible for maintaining lines of communication between the central billing office and Provider practices. Assists Provider practices in implementing and maintaining best practices related to the billing function. Participates in new Provider practice assessments, implementations, and on-boarding.    Essential duties and responsibilities: Works closely with the VP of Revenue Cycle to serve as liaison between the central billing organization and each Provider practice. Acts as a central billing organization resource to assist Provider practices in achieving revenue cycle best practices. Assists Provider practices with maximizing billing software functionality. Participates in assessing, implementing and on-boarding new Provider practices (local and national). Assesses and makes recommendations to Provider practices to optimize revenue cycle results. Collaborates within the central billing organization and other internal business units (managed care contracting, clinical operations, billing software vendor, etc) as needed to drive results. Ensures central billing office responsiveness to practices and tracks requests through resolution. Builds and strengthens relationships with Provider practice managers and staff at Provider practices. Responsible for other duties and special projects as needed.     Skills/qualifications/experience: Bachelor’s degree, OR equivalent required Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience in private practice setting and/or as operational billing software expert Strong background in patient accounts receivable and navigating billing software, preferably Athena Collector. Strong knowledge of federal and state laws and requirements relating to healthcare and patient billing. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity. Ability to multi-task and work independently to achieve goals. Effective communicator with strong oral, written, and customer service skills.
