Summary of the Position: Hourly, Part Time position serving youth and families throughout Northampton County are available. Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school and home settings.

Theprimaryresponsibilityof the Advocate Instructional Aide istosupport and assist in providing instructional programs and services to students with disabilities. This support and assistance includes one-on-one or group review of material taught by certificated staff, classroom management and implementation of positive behavior support plans. Services may be provided in a special education class, regular education class, cyber school setting or other instructional setting as provided in the student's IEP.

This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement

Required Qualifications:

Qualifications/Requirements: Associates degree or higher. Completion of at least 2 years of post-secondary study. Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.

Position requires reliable transportation, valid drivers license, clean driving record, and car insurance limits with a minimum of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident bodily injury liability.
