Zenni is seeking a Business Development leader to lead in the development and management of B2B business opportunities. In this role you will partner with leadership team to manage and maximize results of existing opportunities aligned with the Company’s vision and mission and to support corporate growth objectives. Essential Duties Build infrastructure for a B2B program that includes assessing and lead scoring existing opportunities, partner implementations, and ongoing business . Partner with internal teams to assess, select and implement B2B focused strategic partnerships and other business opportunities including pricing strategies. Research and assess prospective new B2B market opportunities, including corporate partnerships and optical industry partnerships to understand their benefits and challenges. Identify, develop and implement opportunities with corporate clients, including but not limited to insurance providers, government branches, institutional procurement for optical product and strategic partners who are complementary to Zenni’s business model. Evaluate, plan and execute international B2B opportunities where Zenni may expand through collaborating with corporate partners. Actively contribute to generating new customers, increasing customer retention and improving the overall customer experience. Manage and facilitate implementation of selected opportunities across internal departments, partner with external marketing agencies and other external resources as applicable. Ensure data, customer information and sales activity reporting. Develop, build and sustain a robust set of professional relationships. Develop a cohesive marketplace strategy and optimize growth and channel diversity Budget marketing spend to align on revenue and inventory goals Communicate sales progress internally Identify and develop action plans on competitive threats Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree 10+ years of business development/sales experience within the eCommerce industry. Experience with account management Successful track record of identifying and bringing opportunities and partnerships to fruition with a primary focus on B2B revenue generation, preferably with a Fortune 500 and/or major brand organization. Ability to use best practices and previous experience to help structure a scalable B2B program Experienced at developing appropriate KPI’s. Knowledge of strategic planning principles and best practices. Strong data analysis skills to appropriately assess program and initiatives and make adjustments accordingly Effective leadership experience with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong presentation, facilitation and influence skills with ability to develop accurate and detailed messaging with sensitivity to proper tone and positioning. Demonstrated project management skills and understanding with sound planning and organization skills. Strong business acumen. Strategic, innovative and creative thinker. Sound analytical skills, judgement and initiative to make sound and reasonable decisions. Self-starter with ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal direction; able to thrive in an exciting, fast-paced environment. Collaborative team player with a positive outlook and “can-do” attitude. Sound judgment; trustworthiness, strong personal integrity and work ethic.
